Street Portraits & Direct Positive

The Direct Positive technique is as old as photography itself. It was born around 1839 through the collaboration of several inventors such as William Henry Fox Talbot, English inventor also of the process called Calotype but also of many other techniques and of the Frenchman Hippolyte Bayard. It consists in obtaining a finished but specular image of reality (a bit like looking in a mirror) on a paper support and in a single copy through silver. I use this technique to give maximum exclusivity and maximum value to every instant of life. I make portraits on commission, on the street or in any place or event.
